Joss Peach has been a professional pianist for half his life, since the tender age
of fifteen. Mainly self taught and with a natural love of sound from an
early age, Joss' whole life has been passionately devoted to music.
Joss is
known for his sensitive, imaginative playing, and for being open to a
diverse range of stylistic influences.
A graduate from Leeds College of Music, his career has seen him playing in
countless jazz clubs and festivals around the country. He has worked with
established names; Andy Williams, Spike Wells, Bobby Wellins; as well as
'young lions' of british jazz such as Seb Rochford and Pete Wareham.
He Toured the UK extensively with the big band for the Rat Pack tribute
'Live From Las Vegas', the hit stage show remembering the classic
masterpieces of Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior.
Joss also lived and played in Granada (Southern Spain) for a year where he
attracted significant attention from the Spanish media and won the coveted
'Secadero' prize for jazz piano.
Now based in Brighton, Joss spends his time gigging, teaching, composing and
doing musical arrangement.
